Kim Warner

 Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters of Couple and Family Therapy.

Kim is a Clinical Member counsellor for Australian Association for Family Therapy Inc.  Kim is a specialist child counsellor.

Kim has been recognised by the Integrated Attachment-Based Counselling and Therapy Association as a Master of attachment-based counselling and Clinical Supervision.

Kim has 30 years of professional training and professional development.

Kim is a qualified Circle of Security provider and has expertise in its use with individuals and couples and families.

Kim has undergone extensive training in Psychotherapy and Psycho-dynamic practice, and was personally supervised by Brian Hunt Psychotherapist.

 Kim has attended several  training workshops run by Dr Patricia Crittenden PHD  and has also been trained in the infant CARE Index application, child and family counselling and supervision.

The DMM forms the basis of Kim's approach to working with people reacting to danger, and anger management . 

Kim operates from a human to human caring approach that recognises everyone's underlying survival instincts.  This approach supports individuals no matter how traumatised or defended they are, in a respectful and caring manner.  

Kim has provided clinical supervision for the staff at Child Abuse Prevention Service.  Kim has been exceptional in the performance of her duties. All my Counsellors and staff have improved their understanding and skill levels within a short time of working with Kim.
